The musicians and artists of Maker Heights have once again joined forces to produce the second edition of The Maker Tapes, a limited edition compact disc album, featuring a selection of original music performed by acclaimed musicians and bands from around the Rame Peninsula.

All proceeds from this album will help to protect and promote music and arts at Maker Heights for the benefit of the community for generations to come.

Compiled and arranged by local producers, illustrated and designed by local artists, and once again generously donated and manufactured by local resident Dave Summers of DMS Ltd, this CD is comprised of many tracks which have been written, recorded or produced within the Barrack building itself.

Each purchase includes a compact disc inside a stunning 6 panel digipack, held in a custom slipcase, and , and the option to download all of the tracks to your computer, to add to your iTunes, MP3 players and smartphones.

Maker Heights is one of Cornwall’s most vibrant and independent creative clusters. Occupying the highest point of the Rame Peninsula in South East Cornwall, Maker provides affordable art and music studios, galleries and work spaces, a campsite, licensed cocktail bar and art gallery, a high end recording studio and music venue; all surrounded by rolling hills, farmland and a postcard panoramic of Plymouth Sound.
